AC blowing warm again after being "fixed" three months ago

I had my AC recharged back in April because it wasn't cooling properly. Guy at the shop said it just needed refrigerant and sent me on my way. Fast forward to now and it's blowing warm again, which means there's obviously a leak somewhere he didn't bother finding. I'm not going back there. Someone told me to click here to see a place that actually diagnoses AC leaks properly instead of just topping up and hoping for the best. Before I book anything, has anyone dealt with a recurring AC issue like this? Was it a simple O ring or did it turn out to be something expensive like the compressor or condenser? I just want to know what I might be in for before I go in.
